COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS
Some instruction in the Working Professional Doctor of Pharmacy distance learning program is delivered via a combination of pre-recorded DVD videos, which are sent directly to you.
To participate in the online classroom, you will need a computer system that meets minimum specifications.

General Computer Readiness
- If you use a dial up Internet service, we suggest that you consider a high-speed connection, or plan to submit your exams and assignments from a PC that has a high-speed connection
- Information regarding free downloads and plug-ins are included in the CD presentations in Unit A
PC Computer Requirements (All students)
- The WPPD content is incompatable with the MAC as well as PC emulators for the MAC
- Access to a PC is required for participation in the program

- 400 MHZ Pentium III Processor computer
- 128 MB Ram
- 2 GB free hard drive space
- 10X CD-ROM drive
- 56 Kbps modem
- Color monitor
- Sound card with speakers
- DVD drive or home DVD player

- Internet access

Additional Requirement for Remote Model Students
Students enrolling in the remote model must meet the following additional requirement by the first Wednesday in the starting semester:
- Installation of a 2nd phone line, or cable Internet access (to use Internet while participating in class teleconferences)
